Blackjack is, in practice, the casino game with the lowest house edge when played with basic strategy. Under ideal conditions — six decks, dealer stands on soft 17, and standard rules — the house margin falls below 0.5%. That means for every R$ 100.00 wagered, you statistically lose less than R$ 0.50 over the long run. No other casino game comes close. 877x knows this, which is why it offers one of the best blackjack table selections available in Brazil.
877x brings together live tables from Evolution Gaming — the world leader in live casino — alongside RNG options from top providers such as Playtech, Microgaming and NetEnt. Live means a real human dealer, real-time camera feed, physical cards and the full atmosphere of a casino table, streamed directly to your phone or computer. You interact with the dealer via chat, watch the cards being shuffled and dealt, and make your decisions within the same time frame as a land-based table.
For blackjack beginners, 877x offers Classic Blackjack and Multihand RNG tables where you play at your own pace — no time pressure, no other players at the table. It's the ideal setting to practice basic strategy before stepping into the live tables. In Multihand, you can play up to five hands at once against the dealer, which greatly speeds up your understanding of how different card combinations play out.
Among the variants available at 877x, Speed Blackjack is worth a closer look: cards are dealt to all players simultaneously, and whoever decides first — hit or stand — acts first. The result is a much faster table, delivering roughly twice as many hands per hour compared to traditional blackjack. Perfect for players who prefer a quicker pace. Infinite Blackjack, on the other hand, eliminates the problem of full tables — it accepts unlimited players, all betting on the same dealer hand, with no waiting for a seat.
Free Bet Blackjack is probably the most beginner-friendly variant out there: the house automatically covers the cost of doubles and splits in most situations, so you don't need to risk extra capital. The one catch is that if the dealer busts with 22, the table pushes instead of paying out normal bets. Even so, it's a great table for anyone who wants to get comfortable with doubling and splitting mechanics without the usual financial risk.
Depositing and playing blackjack at 877x is straightforward: create your account in under two minutes, deposit via Pix (credited in under 30 seconds) starting from R$ 20.00, and you're ready to join any table. That minimum deposit of R$ 20.00 is enough to play at tables with a R$ 5.00 minimum bet, giving you room for several hands without needing to top up. Withdrawals are processed via Pix to your registered key, fee-free, within one hour of your request.
Basic strategy is not cheating — it's math. It simply shows the statistically correct decision for every possible card combination. At 877x's online tables, you're free to keep the strategy chart open in another tab while you play. At the live tables, decision time is shorter, so it's worth practicing on the RNG tables first until the moves become second nature.
Splitting two Aces and two Eights is one of the most important rules in basic strategy. Two split Aces have a strong chance of becoming two 21s. Two Eights make 16, the worst possible hand — splitting them gives you two chances to build something better. This rule applies regardless of what the dealer is showing.
When the dealer shows an Ace, the table offers Insurance for half your bet, paying 2:1 if the dealer has blackjack. Mathematically, Insurance carries a massive house edge — just over 7% in most games. Basic strategy recommends never taking Insurance, regardless of what cards you're holding.
Blackjack carries variance even with perfect strategy. Decide how much you're willing to play with before you sit down, and walk away when you hit that limit — whether you're up or down. Long sessions without bankroll control are the main reason skilled players end up losing more than they should.
